FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE IS THE STUDIO?
The studio is accessed via the entrance on Stockwell Place (not Stockwell Street). The front door is locked and can be opened using a security code. The door code will be sent in your class booking confirmation email. There is also a doorbell so don’t panic if you forget the code!
Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before your class is due to start. Latecomers may be admitted at the discretion of management and the teacher.
You are welcome to relax in our chill out area before and after class and enjoy a complimentary cup of herbal tea. Namaste!
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Move Studios can be easily accessed by public transport. The nearest bus stop (stop SG) is located right outside our front door and the following buses stop there – 4X, 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 2, 7, 7A, 60, 60A, 61, 75 and 877. The nearest subway station is St Enoch which is a 5 minute walk away. We’re also just a 9 minute walk from Glasgow Central Station.
Move Studios does not have a car park, however there is plenty of paid parking available in the Q Park St Enoch, the NCP Glasgow King Street and there’s also a car park behind the St Enoch centre, accessed by the entrance on Stockwell Place.
WHAT CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?
HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?
Our classes must be booked in advance through the website. We currently don’t accept walk-ins.
To book a class, visit out classes page and select the class you wish to book. Then click the ‘book now’ button which takes you to a calendar showing when that class is available. Select the date and time you’d like to attend and then choose whether you’d like to pay for a single class or a class package.
Once you’ve made your payment you will be booked into your class. Voila!
WHERE CAN I SEE THE CLASSES I'VE BOOKED?
When you have created an account and booked a class, you will be able to see your class bookings in your account. To access you account, visit the classes page and click the ‘login’ link in the right corner (just beside the list of class types) and login with you account details (your email and password).

Once you have logged in, you will be taken back to the classes page where you can then click ‘Hello [your name]’ to access your account.
Within your account page you will be able to view the classes you have booked.
HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS?
If you are unable to come to class you must cancel more than 4 hours before the start of your class in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 4 hours of the class start time will not be refunded. However, some exceptions may be allowed dependant on circumstances so please contact us if you’re unsure!
Classes can be cancelled by calling or emailing us or via your account page on our website.
To cancel a class on our website, login to your account using the instructions above, to view the classes you have booked.
Click on the name of the class you wish to cancel and then click onto the small bin icon underneath the ‘Book Again’ button (shown by the arrow below) and this will cancel your spot in the class.
HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS?
The studio space comes fully equipped with yoga mats, blocks and bricks, however, you’re very welcome to bring your own if you wish. Don’t forget your water bottle to keep hydrated and we don’t supply sweat towels so please also bring one of these with you if you tend to get sweaty AF.
We have shower facilities, lockers and hair dryers but please remember to bring a towel if you are going to shower after your class. We don’t supply in-shower toiletries such as shampoo so please also bring these if you’re planning to wash that greasy hair.
